I moved to the Costa del Sol from England 6 years ago. I have enjoyed drawing and various arts and crafts since childhood but I only started painting in 2008 and I absolutely love it. I usually use acrylics, tempera and gouache and often find that they work well together. I am looking forward to experimenting with other media in the future. I began signing my work C.A. Woods but lately I've been using my maiden name of Stubbs in a kind of a tribute to my father who was very artistic and gave me encouragement when I was young.

I particularly like painting sunsets, landscapes and animals, especially the big cats. I paint for the fun and pleasure of it.
