Born in 1934 in Hull, East Yorkshire into a family of amateur artists, I have always loved to paint and produce handicrafts in general.

At the age of 11 the foundation for my passion for colour and the need to express it was fostered by Sister Mary Immanuel or 'Little Emma' as she was fondly known by her pupils at St Mary's High School, Hull.

I eventually moved to Spain from England five and a half years ago and now have the time and opportunity to pursue my painting with enthusiasm.
